Reverse Tank reimagined the traditional pitching format by placing participants in the role of investors rather than founders. Teams analysed startups, negotiated deals, and justified investment decisions, fostering strong investor-centric thinking and strategic evaluation.
Participants applied real-world investing skills such as financial analysis, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiation. Day 1 focused on analysing companies and acquiring investments with a fixed imaginary fund, while Day 2 had teams defend their investment thesis before an expert panel.
Overall, Reverse Tank offered hands-on exposure to venture capital decision-making in competitive conditions, building a practical understanding of professional investment processes.
