Mint Money Festival
India’s Flagship Financial Literacy Summit
27 SEPTEMBER 2025
EDEC served as the official Outreach Partner for the Mint Money Festival, a nationwide financial literacy movement hosted by Mint (HT Media Ltd). With some of the country’s most respected voices in investments, capital markets, taxation, insurance, and wealth management, the festival drew over 2000+ participants across India.
The event featured marquee speakers such as Harshad Patwardhan (Union AMC), Rajeev Thakkar (PPFAS), Deepak Shenoy (Capitalmind), Vidya Bala (PrimeInvestor), Pratik Dantara (Nexus Select Trust), Kailash Kulkarni (HSBC MF) and more. There were also compelling sessions on international investing, REITs, startup investing, and tax planning, concluding with cultural highlights like actor-producer Richa Chadha’s segment on money and life, and a stand-up act by Corporate Babaji.
Students participating through EDEC gained access to actionable insights on personal finance, retirement planning, global diversification, and wealth-building strategies tailored for the Indian economy. The event created a rare, empowering environment where even beginners felt confident engaging with India’s top financial experts.

Global AI Summit with BHIVE Workspace

In one of the year’s most dynamic collaborations, EDEC partnered with BHIVE Workspace as the Outreach Partner for the AI for ALL Global Summit—a multi-panel immersive event featuring 20+ global leaders across AI, venture capital, deeptech, product innovation, and digital transformation.
Speakers included leaders from Stellaris Venture Partners, Accenture, Intel, Blume Ventures, Gnani AI, Revrag AI, Lumber AI, South Park Commons, and several other trailblazing organizations. Four powerful panels anchored the summit:

BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT
(18 November 2025 to 20 November 2025)
Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 marked the 28th edition of Asia’s premier technology and innovation summit and reaffirmed Bengaluru’s position as India’s global technology capital. Organised by the Government of Karnataka, the summit brought together over 92,000 participants from 57 countries, creating a large-scale platform for policy dialogue, industry collaboration, startup showcasing, and global partnerships. The 2025 edition was themed Futurise and focused on emerging technologies shaping the future, including artificial intelligence, deep tech, semiconductors, biotechnology, climate tech, and space technologies.

The summit featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and founder conversations exploring topics such as Bharat-first brand building, sustainability and climate innovation, deep tech commercialisation, fintech growth, mobility solutions, and changing consumer behaviour. Industry leaders, startup founders, investors, and policymakers shared insights on scaling ventures, building trust-driven brands in tier two and tier three markets, and advancing India’s research and innovation ecosystem. Dedicated sessions highlighted climate action, circular economy models, clean technology solutions, and opportunities arising from national funding and policy initiatives.

Spanning three days, the summit facilitated structured engagement through parallel technology tracks, expo visits, fireside chats, networking sessions, and conclaves focused on future innovation. With strong participation from academia, startups, global leaders, and government bodies, Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 played a critical role in shaping conversations around technology policy, funding access, and international collaboration. The event demonstrated Karnataka’s long-term commitment to building inclusive, future-ready innovation ecosystems that empower startups and drive sustainable growth.


SUMMITUP 2025
EDEC served as an institutional outreach partner for SummitUp 2025, the flagship annual summit of NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore, marking 25 years of enabling entrepreneurship in India. The event brought together founders, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders from across the country to engage in conversations on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of India’s startup ecosystem. Reflecting NSRCEL’s journey from an early academic incubator to a national platform, the summit highlighted its impact across diverse sectors and regions beyond metropolitan India.

SummitUp 2025 featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and founder conversations covering evolving consumer behavior, Bharat focused brand building, sustainability and climate innovation, deep tech commercialization, fintech growth, and mobility solutions. Sessions also explored entrepreneurship in the context of global and economic shifts, with discussions on scaling ventures, policy support, and opportunities emerging from India’s growing research and innovation ecosystem. The summit created a space for meaningful dialogue between entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers shaping the next phase of innovation.

Students participating through EDEC gained exposure to real world startup journeys, inclusive entrepreneurship models, and practical insights into building scalable and impact driven ventures. BANGALORE SLUSH’D 2025
EDEC served as an Ecosystem Student Partner for Bangalore Slush’D 2025, a national level startup and DeepTech summit focused on India’s Techade 2.0 The Age of Convergence. The event brought together founders, investors, technologists, researchers, and ecosystem leaders working across AI, DeepTech, ClimateTech, HealthTech, mobility, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing. As a key connector between Christ University and the national startup ecosystem, EDEC promoted the summit among students, facilitated participation, and enabled access to curated tracks and sessions relevant to emerging technology driven entrepreneurship.

The summit featured keynote addresses, founder and investor panels, technologist discussions, startup showcases, and networking mixers that explored how ideas move from research to technology to commercial scale. Sessions focused on themes such as AI and DeepTech commercialization, climate and sustainability innovation, health tech solutions, mobility and manufacturing advancements, and founder VC conversations on scaling ventures in India. The event created a high impact learning environment by combining practical insights, real startup journeys, and investor perspectives within a dynamic ecosystem setting.

The experience offered valuable exposure to India’s evolving startup and DeepTech landscape, along with opportunities to build networks with founders, investors, and ecosystem enablers. It strengthened awareness of research driven entrepreneurship, innovation careers, and technology led problem solving while reinforcing EDEC’s role as a bridge between academic institutions and national innovation platforms. Overall, Bangalore Slush’D 2025 provided a front row view of India’s innovation future and encouraged deeper engagement with startups, DeepTech, and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
