2025
Career Insider ’25, held on 11th July 2025 at Christ University’s Main Auditorium, was a dynamic and insightful event that brought together leaders from entrepreneurship, family business, and the corporate world. With over a thousand students and faculty members in attendance, the event delivered a powerful blend of inspiration, industry knowledge, and actionable career guidance, offering participants a comprehensive view of diverse professional pathways.

The event featured three major sessions led by distinguished speakers. The Family Business session, led by Ms. Nupur Goenka, Executive Director at Tally Solutions, focused on carrying legacy enterprises forward through stewardship, innovation, and strong foundational values. The Entrepreneurship session featured Mr. Chandubhai Virani, Founder of Balaji Wafers, who shared his journey from running a small canteen to building a leading FMCG brand, highlighting perseverance, customer focus, risk taking, and sustainable growth from humble beginnings.

The Corporate Panel on the Big 4 brought together senior leaders who discussed career pathways, recruitment expectations, and essential skills for success in global corporate environments, including the growing importance of technology driven roles and analytical thinking. The event concluded with an interactive Q and A and networking segment that allowed direct engagement with speakers. Career Insider ’25 offered a holistic perspective on business, entrepreneurship, and corporate careers, reinforcing its position as one of EDEC’s most impactful industry education initiatives.

The panel discussion held on August 22, 2024, at Christ University’s Main Auditorium was a dynamic and insightful event centered on modern recruitment practices, HR strategies, and career development. With over 1,000 attendees including students, faculty, and industry professionals, the event offered valuable perspectives on the evolving job market and equipped participants with practical tools for long term career growth.

The event featured three major sessions led by distinguished industry leaders. The Chaos to Clarity HR panel, moderated by Mr. Gautam Parekh, Managing Director at EDEC, examined the shift of HR from a support function to a strategic partner, with insights from Mrs. Sreesukhi Sudarshan of EY and Mr. Mohit Sharma of KPMG on AI driven recruitment, risk taking, and the importance of depth in career development. The Golden Legacy Family Business session, led by Mr. Siddharth Mehta of Rajesh Exports, explored succession planning and sustainability in family enterprises, emphasizing humility, hard work, leadership by example, and entrepreneurship as a path to job creation, along with an engaging live giveaway of signed mugs.

The Navigating Tomorrow Startup India session was led by Mr. Ashok Chandavarkar, Vice President of Invest India, who highlighted the exponential growth of India’s startup ecosystem and introduced the BHASKAR Initiative to foster startup collaboration. He stressed innovation, long term planning, and early career preparation as keys to success. The event concluded with a live performance by Vishal Anand, an ex Christite and contemporary pop musician from Bangalore, blending intellectual insights with artistic expression and leaving the audience with a memorable experience.
